Welcome! I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Leipzig and the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH), in the Department of Financial Markets. My research focuses on the impact of public policies on household wealth and income. In particular, I study the effect of property taxes and government spending on homeownership and income growth.

I am a member of the International Banking Library team and serve as PhD Representative at IWH.

Research Interests

Distributional effects of public policy; household finance and wealth inequality; banking regulation and taxation.

Passing the Keys: How Property Taxes Can Shape Intergenerational Homeownership

This paper studies how property taxation affects homeownership across generations, examining whether fiscal reforms can reshape the intergenerational distribution of homeownership.

Beyond Multipliers: Distributional Income Effects of Government Spending in the Euro Area

This project examines how fiscal policy affects income growth across the income distribution. We study how government spending shocks impact household income growth, distinguishing between government consumption and investment.
